Fashion month would be nothing without Milan Fashion Week, and this season, the street style is exhilarating. As fashion lovers walked the streets of Milan, there was no escaping the Y2K fashion trend, with streetwear inspired by the early ’00s taking over, such as combinations of super-low-rise jeans and crops tops, cargo pants and futuristic sunglasses, and multi-layered singlets. And gone are the days of minimalistic silhouettes, this season it’s all about experimenting with structure and texture.
Some favorites we saw were blazers with oversized shoulder pads, giant fabric rosettes, and layers of leather. Fabrics like satin and floaty chiffon made an appearance, with fashion goers playing with colors like peach. We spotted puddle pants, electric blue suits, and orange dresses. Colorful micro handbags were also a common sight, as were crescent-shaped silhouettes and statement hardware. As for shoes, it’s all about chunky loafers, Mary Janes, and knee boots, which were spotted in almost every color and material. Check out the best street style from Milan Fashion Week Fall/Winter 24 to overhaul your aesthetic.
