Priyanka Chopra Jonas has become an Ambassador for Positive Change with the British Fashion Council. In her new role, the actress and model will work with London Fashion Week and the Fashion Awards. She will also promote the BFC’s Institute of Positive Fashion, which pushes the industry to become more diverse, equal, and fair.

1960s Muse and Model, Isa Stoppi, Dies
A top model from the ’60s, Isa Stoppi, has passed away at the age of 74. Best known as ‘the model with two lakes for eyes’, she famously worked with photographers including Milton Greene, Henry Clarke, and Irving Penn. She stopped her work as a model in the ’70s and landed a role as a fashion editor with Vogue Italia.
“Every memory of Isa is special. She was special. I will never forget the first time I met her. I got in touch with her through my brother, always very sensitive to beauty,” said Gian Paolo Barbieri, Italian fashion photographer. “Isa’s face has been one of the most significant on the fashion scene at that era with its incredible modernity that is still astonishing,” said Giorgio Armani.

Chanel to Debut Metiers d’Art
Chanel will debut its Metiers d’Art without an audience, as France remains in lockdown. The fashion house plans to film the event, and share it with the public. This year’s collection aims to showcase the craftsmanship of designers that the fashion house has acquired. Some include feather specialist Lemarié, Scottish knitwear brand, Barrie, and embroiderer Lesage. The film will display at the Château de Chenonceau in the Loire Valley, and will also stream live online on December 3rd.

Karlie Kloss Debuts Collection with Adidas
Supermodel, Karlie Kloss, has announced her collection with Adidas. The collaboration spotlights the model’s passion for empowering women. The pieces in the collection include burnt orange jackets, black and blue high waisted leggings, sneakers, and sports bras.
“There’s so much synergy with Adidas around this passion for sport and the important role it can play in feeling your best and performing your best,” Kloss explained. “I love the message that we’re sending through this collection, as it helps other young women realize the importance of that in their life and how that can translate into every aspect of what they do.” The collection launches on December 1st.

Louis Vuitton Partners with NBA with Virtual Event
Louis Vuitton is partnering with the NBA on a new collaboration. The capsule collection is designed by Virgil Abloh and will debut via a virtual experience at Madison Square Garden. The virtual experience features the LV logo in the middle of the court, with models sporting the collection, and surrounded by basketball motifs.
“Louis Vuitton and the NBA are both icons and leaders in their respective fields, and the joining of the two promises exciting and surprising moments, forging historic memories together,” said Michale Burke, the Chairman, and CEO of Louis Vuitton. The collection and digital experience is open to the public and is only available to watch on the Louis Vuitton website.
