Bottega Veneta and Daniel Lee Part Ways
Daniel Lee is leaving Bottega Veneta. The designer joined the company in July 2018 as Creative Director – a statement from Kering expressed the news as a ‘joint decision.’ “[Lee] brought new energy to the House and greatly contributed to the new momentum that Bottega Veneta is enjoying today,” read the statement. Lee was responsible for the brand’s revamp, introducing iconic pieces such as the pouch and cassette bags and square-toed pumps. “My time at Bottega Veneta has been an incredible experience. I am grateful to have worked with an exceptional and talented team, and I am forever thankful to everyone who was part of creating our vision,” said Lee.

Inside the CFDA 2021 Awards
Celebrities and designers have taken home a series of accolades at the 2021 CFDA Awards. The event was hosted by Emily Blunt, featuring other guests like Vera Wang, Emily Ratajkowski, Ciara, and Karlie Kloss. Recipients of the awards include Demna Gvasalia, Christopher John Rogers, and Telfar Clemens. “This is an important moment in American fashion,” said Tom Ford, Chairman of the CFDA.
Zendaya and Anya-Taylor Joy won two of the night’s biggest awards, CFDA Fashion Icon and Face of the Year, respectively. Zendaya wore a custom crimson two-piece by Vera Wang, featuring a bandeau and dramatic peplum skirt. “I don’t know about you, but I feel in this room a sense of hope, innovation, ingenuity, and a true sense of togetherness and support,” she said. Anya-Taylor Joy wore a purple Oscar de la Renta belted skirt suit, complete with leopard print gloves and beret.

Hailey Bieber is a new advocate for the VS Collective. Victoria’s Secret’s new project features Adut Akech, Paloma Elsesser, and many others. “Her authenticity and commitment to staying true to herself is inspiring. As part of the new campaign, she featured on the VS Voices podcast.
