Zac Posen is Coming Back
Zac Posen is making a comeback, but there’s a catch. The designer will exclusively work with Neiman Marcus for two seasons, with its Fall RTW collection launching in September 2022. The label closed its doors in 219, which was a shock to the fashion community. It was acquired by Centric Brands LLC in 2020, taking over Z Spoke LLC. It is important to note that the designer behind the label, Zac Posen, will not be working on this collection. In an Instagram post, he said, ‘Not me, Not my designs. Just a trademark.”
“We believe there is a white space in the marketplace for beautifully crafted clothing, especially in occasion dressing,” shared the Senior Vice President and Division Head of Zac Posen, Melissa Lafere-Cobb. “Launching the Zac Posen ready-to-wear collection under Melissa’s leadership is an exciting opportunity to evolve and grow the brand,” said the Group President of Neiman Marcus, Suzy Biszantz.

Adidas Creates Inclusive Collection with Thebe Magugu
Adidas is releasing a collaboration with South African designer Thebe Magugu. The collection is vivid in color, with purple, orange, yellow, and cream. It features gender-neutral items, including jackets, shorts, shoes, and swimwear. The designer explained that the collection was inspired by Magugu’s mother, celebrating the South African heritage.
“Bringing together such personal stories through design and blending them with Adidas’ iconic performance and lifestyle pieces has been an amazing process,” said Magugu. “The collection really celebrates all the positive influences around me and a sense of community that is so important to me. I hope it inspires the same joyful feeling in those who wear it.”

Valentino Solidifies PP Pink in New Campaign
Valentino is set to make pink the color of the season with its latest campaign. The bright pink shade was the focal piece of the label’s latest campaign, featuring Zendaya, Lewis Hamilton, and stylist Law Roach. The campaign is entirely monochromatic, with the signature shade encompassing the background, clothing, footwear, and accessories. According to Creative Director Pierpaolo Picciolo, PP Pink goes beyond the shade – it is “the color of love, community, energy, and freedom.”
