We’re at the home stretch of the fashion month, but the street style in Paris is only getting better. Suits are keeping a chokehold on fashion-goers this season, but we’re noticing an uptick in pinstripe fabrics and shades of grey, either with oversized or ’70s-inspired tailoring. There were plenty of monochrome looks across the streets of Paris, with the most popular shades including purple, black, white, cherry red and yellow. Coming off the back of the latest Chloé season, flowing chiffon, and lace in shades of cream, clay, and burgundy were hard to miss, they were frequently paired with blue denim and leather jackets and boots. Despite its previous reputation, double denim is hedging on a major comeback – skirts and jackets, jeans and dresses were on every corner, defined with a unique silhouette or a bold pop of color.
To fight the brisker weather, attendees kept their pins warm with colored tights – red, burgundy, and white lace were particularly popular, but classic black remained a timeless choice. To rug up even further, many draped themselves in large fur coats, either with a bold leopard print or rich jewel tones, adding black knee-high boots or white strappy pumps to polish it off.
