Even the low winter temperatures couldn’t keep the hottest looks out of Italy’s fashion capital for Milan Fashion Week A/W19. With some of the nation’s greatest exports including Gucci, Moschino, Prada and Versace showcasing their A/W19 collections, Italy’s fashion elite flocked to the streets of Milan. The world’s most fashionable fought off the cold weather with an abundance of rainbow tones, bright pops of colour being a common theme. Tonal blocking proved to be a versatile trend, with some daring for bright reds, greens or pinks, while others kept it low key with monochromatic brown looks. Other plentiful trends throughout the week include menswear-inspired oversized power suits and statement ankle-length overcoats. While bright colours seem to be abundant in this week, many complimented this by keeping their accessories and footwear simple with a crisp white boot or sneaker and minimal jewellery.
