Are you on the lookout for the next big thing in fashion? Milan Fashion Week is here to cement the latest trends for the season. A mixture of styles from decade’s past stole the spotlight on and off the runways – from ’60s Pucci-inspired prints to ’70s chunky platforms and ’80s tailored silhouettes. Popular choices on the streets of Milan include catsuits, bras worn as crop tops, and leather gloves. Milan gave a taste of Y2K in spades this season, in the form of corsetry, ruched dresses and cut-outs. Late ’90s and early ’00s films like The Matrix inspired many outfits throughout the week, with plenty of black, leather and micro sunglasses. The color palettes varied this year, too. Some of the standouts we’ve seen this season include various shades of green, bold red, and plenty of pinks. As expected, neutrals dominated the streets of Milan, with camel, chocolate, cream and olive green featuring in almost every ensemble for MaxMara and Fendi shows alike. Discover your new favorite outfit and get inspired for the new season with some of the hottest street style looks we’ve seen from Milan Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2022.
