As the fashion month continues, Milan proves that the trends are improving every day. The fashion-goers are making their mark with hip-hugging distressed denim, oversized cargo pants, and skintight tops. The nostalgia trend is showing no signs of slowing. Another favorite this season is tonal layering, with shades of brown, blue, and red acting as the key players. Turtlenecks came in favor of necklaces, showcasing the focal point of many outfits in the chilly temperatures. While blazers and suits are certainly nothing new, this season, we’re forgoing shirts underneath large jackets, showcasing skin as the next hot garment. Maximalism in garments, bags, and earrings is the week’s winner, but signs point towards a paired-back attitude we’ve seen in previous seasons.
