With the accumulative following of the girls amassing just over 80 million followers on Instagram alone, Teen Vogue attributes that Kylie Jenner is the number one viewed person on Snapchat globally & Kendall claims the number ranking picture on Instagram with just over 3 million likes.
With a following of almost more than four times the Australian population it was no wonder their presence on our soil was met with great anticipation and squeals of excitement from much of the Australian female population between the ages of 15-25.
Awaiting their idols arrival with baited breathe on November 17, 2015 their allegiance of predominantly young female fans were granted gratis and finally exhaled as the girls embarked on a national whirlwind promotional tour of their exclusive capsule collection with one of Australias fastest growing retailers, Forever New.
The pre-arrival atmosphere for Kendall and Kylie was electric, a hybrid concoction of potentially too much oestrogen for a single space coupled with the impatient anticipation of an allegiance of screaming girls, the air was so thick with adoration it was almost comparable to that of a religious sect.
Their fans cries were finally met just after 5pm when the Jenner girls appearance on stage was met with deafening screams where the sisters professed their love for Australia and thanked their fans for all their support.
Kendall and Kylie both wore black from their coveted capsule collection for Forever New with Kendall in a sheer lace halter-neck pantsuit and Kylie in a mini-asymetric hem LBD. The girls collection consists of 19 curated pieces embodying the chic essence of the duo with the collection drawing inspiration from global influences in fashion, art, film, music and theatre. The collection is available in limited release at select Forever New stores and online.
