AZ Factory’s Love Brings Love is Now an Exhibition
AZ Factory’s tribute to the late Alber Elbaz is getting its own exhibition. The Love Brings Love collection closed out Milan Fashion Week, featuring more than 40 tributes to the late designer from a wide range of labels including Gucci, Fendi, Balenciaga, Dior, and more.
The exhibition will be held at Paris’ The Palais Galliera fashion museum. It will run from March 5 to July 10. “The Palais Galliera celebrates Alber Elbaz, one of its most dear collaborators,” said Miren Arzalluz, Director of Palais Galleria. “By re-enacting this moving and unprecedented tribute by the fashion industry, we wish to honor his life and legacy and invite our visitors to engage in the designer’s joyful vision of fashion.”

Musicians in the Show-Stopping Outfits at the AMAs
Musicians took to the red carpet at the 22021 American Music Awards. Olivia Rodrigo, BTS, and Machine Gun Kelly were up for awards, who wore David Koma, Louis Vuitton, and Ahston Michael, respectively. Other guests included JLo, wearing Dolce & Gabanna, Chlöe in Missoni, and Rachel Zeglerin Carolina Herrera. Cardi B hosted the evening and wore several dazzling outfits throughout the night. Some of her showstopping looks included a green Jean Paul Gaultier dress, Sohee Park couture, Schiaparelli, featuring a black gown, veil, gold face mask, and many others.

Oscar de la Renta Launches a Resale Platform
Oscar de la Renta is entering the resale market. The luxury designer is launching its own platform, Encore, which will feature jewelry, vintage pieces, gowns, and much more. Authorized sellers will offer their pre-loved pieces, as will individual clients, with exceptional and one-of-a-kind garments. Encore will celebrate the exclusive pieces by Oscar de la Renta, which will be available for purchase online. Sellers will also have the option to donate proceeds of their sales to various charities, including Dress for Success, World Central Kitchen, Habitat of Humanity, or Colleagues of Los Angeles.

Alessandro Michele to be Awarded at BFC Fashion Awards
Gucci’s Creative Director, Alessandro Michele, will win the Trailblazer Award at the 2021 British Fashion Council’s Fashion Awards. This year’s event will take place in the Royal Albert Hall in London on Monday, November 29. Previous winners include Fendi’s Kim Jones and Alexander McQueen’s Sarah Burton.
“Alessandro’s work at Gucci over the last year defines what it means is to be a trailblazer, he is a pioneer in every aspect of his creative output and uses the power of design to pave new paths connecting the fashion industry to all other industries from film to digital innovation,” said Caroline Rush, the CEO of the BFC. “He is an incredible source of inspiration for many generations to come, and we look forward to celebrating with him next week in London.”
