Jacquemus Showcases Physical Show in a French Field
Jacquemus has showcased it’s latest “L’Amour’ collection in a physical show on the outskirts of Paris. The designer presented the pieces along a wooden runway in a wheat field, complete with men’s and women’s items. “L’Amour’Amour began as something different,” the designer explained. “I imagined people gathered together, celebrating love.”
It isn’t the first time the designer used the French scenery as its backdrop. The Spring/Summer 2020 collection sat amongst rows of lavender in the French countryside. “For me, the runway can’t be a video,” said Simon Porte Jacquemus. “It’s’s at the heart of what we do; it’s not superficial. It’s important to all of us to continue, just like a restaurant that reopens. It’s’s like a movie of a summer day. It’s our life.”

Reebok Introduce REEcycled Collection
Reebok is reimagining seven of its most iconic shoes by making them more sustainable. The REEcycled collection showcases seven of the brand’s most popular designs, but this time made from reconstructed materials. “All plastics should get to live more than one life. To be morphed and repurposed. To become something unexpected. We’re committed to switching up the game and turning plastics into shirts, shoes, and more” the brand’s creative director said. The upper of the footwear is made with at least 50% recycled materials, and the rest is made with at least 40%. You can find the new line of shoes on the Reebok site and in-store.

Rihanna Launches New Fenty Shoe Collection
Rihanna is collaborating with Amina Muaddi for the latest shoe collection from Fenty. The limited-edition release includes a series of heels and sandals that represent ‘the muse and the brand.’ “It was very exciting to find that Fenty identity. I wanted to start from scratch,” said the Muaddi. “I wanted the shoes to emphasize Fenty’s aesthetic and have Rihanna’s feminine yet edgy vision and style, but do it through my own lens.”
Each pair of shoes is constructed with a few things in mind, but comfort remains one of the leading factors. There are four shoes available to purchase: a cage pump, sandals with PVC straps, a mule, and lace-up sandals. The footwear is available for purchase online.
