Law Roach is retiring from celebrity styling, and celebrities make waves at the Oscars. Stay up to date with the top international fashion news stories of the week.
Law Roach Retires from Celeb Styling
It has been a huge week for Law Roach, with the image architect announcing his retirement. The news first broke on Instagram, with Law later describing the reason for the move in an interview with The Cut’s EIC Lindsay Peoples. “I haven’t been happy, honestly, in a really long time,” he said. “And the culmination of everything that’s been happening in my career these last few days kind of just pushed me over the edge.” He further explained that while he is thankful for everything he has earned, it has not been without suffering.
Thankfully, while the image architect will be retiring from styling celebrities, he won’t be leaving the fashion industry. “I’m not retiring from fashion because I love it so much,” he said. “But styling, in the way that I’ve been of service to other people, I’m retiring from that.” He has worked with numerous celebrities, including Bella Hadid, Kerry Washington, Anya Taylor-Joy, and Hunter Schafer. However, his most famous venture has been with Zendaya, with the two working together to create some of the most beautiful red-carpet moments.
