Serena Williams Reveals Virgil Abloh x Nike Collection for U.S Open
Fresh of launching her own clothing line, Serena Williams is winning more fashion moments. The grand slam star has revealed the Virgil Abloh x Nike collection that she will wear for the pending U.S Open. And yes, it’s as cool as we imagined. Complete with Abloh’s signature quotation graphics, reading ‘logo’, the look includes a black one-shoulder dress with Nike’s tick and full tulle skirt.
The 23 times grand slam champion will also play in a pair of customised NikeCourt Flare sneakers. Off the court, she will also rock an Abloh-designed jacket. Nike will be blessing sports fans with a limited edition line of Williams’ dress, jacket, and two Nike The Ten sneaker styles inspired by her look. Styles will be available at select Nike locations in the United States beginning in late August.
Harolds Will Bring in More High-End Labels to its Rotation
Already the ultimate destination for designer brands, luxury retailer Harolds is now adding more labels to its extensive collection. New designers will include big name brands like Erdem, Diane Von Furstenberg and Alessandra Rich, just to name a few.
Sydney-siders will be able to shop the likes of Erdem, Valextra, Diane Von Furstenberg, GCDS, Maison Michel, Alessandra Rich and Mr & Mrs Italy. While the Melbourne location will welcome Erdem, Valextra, Diane Von Furstenberg and GCDS. These brands excluding Erdem will also soon be available at the Gold Coast boutique.
KFC Launches a Line of Apparel in Australia
Fast food giant KFC has launched a line of Aussie apparel. While KFC has sold merchandise in other countries, this is their first foray in fashion in Australia. The collection consists of eight Aussie inspired items including KFC-printed trackies, 100% Original Recipe tees, Colonel-inspired budgie smugglers and more.
KFC has also dropped a scented surf wax, a world’s first for the restaurant chain. A full-sized surfboard is also available but will set you back a cool $3000. There is also a range of accessories such as a gold-plated ‘Finger-Lickin’ Good’ necklace. All proceeds go towards the KFC Youth Foundation. The recently launched organisation raises money for mentorship, skill development and mental wellbeing for young Australians. The collection is available to purchase online now.
SZA is Launching A Sustainable Clothing Line
SZA is showing her support for the anti-plastic moving, by teasing us with her pending sustainable clothing range. The athleisure range is a collaboration with fitness label, Campion. The musician took to Instagram to give us a sneak peek of a few of the collection’s hoodies.
The brightly coloured jumpers feature ‘Sustainability Gang’ embroidered in the rainbow thread, alongside campion’s logo. The post also shows black and white tees donning seahorses and whale prints against the message, ‘Puck Flastic.’ 100% of profits will be donated to the cause.
