Samsung and Australian womenswear label Sportsgirl, are collaborating in a new campaign for the Samsung Galaxy S10. The project “Get Together” features models Casey James and Bridget Hollitt who explore the Notel in Melbourne, and shoot the entire project using the Galaxy S10.
In conjunction with this collab, Samsung and Sportsgirl are running a competition. One lucky winner will receive a Samsung Galaxy S10 phone, 4 x return flights to Melbourne, 2x nights’ accommodation at the ‘Notel’ and a $1,000 Sportsgirl wardrobe. Beyoncé and Adidas are Relaunching Ivy Park
Adidas and Beyoncé are pairing up to relaunch Ivy Park, releasing a new range of athleisure. The collection includes apparel and footwear, but it’s unknown when the collaboration will launch at this stage. An executive board member for Adidas, Eric Liedtke, says that the singer is an “iconic creator but also a proven business leader, and together, we have the ability to inspire change and empower the next generation of creators”. Beyoncé will run and own Ivy Park entirely, making her the first black woman to be the sole owner of an athleisure label.

Céline Dion is the New Face of L’Oreal Paris
Canadian singer and pop-culture icon, Céline Dion, is the new spokesperson for L’Oreal Paris. Dion and the cosmetics brand are celebrating strong, self-empowered and assertive women, as well as ageless beauty. It’s Dion’s first beauty contract and according to her, she has “never felt as beautiful, as strong,” The powerhouse’s first campaign will be for L’Oreal’s Excellence Hair Colour and will launch on April 22.

Versace Designer, Luigi Massi, Dies
Versace designer and celebrity stylist, Luigi Massi, has passed away in Milan; working with the label for 33 years. The “tailor of the stars” was known for designing gowns for red carpets, dressing Uma Thurman, Angelina Jolie and Lady Gaga. One of his most famous pieces is Angelina Jolie’s wedding dress with drawings by her children on the skirt and veil. Massi was 56 years old.

Condé Nast Appoints a New Global CEO
Roger Lynch is becoming the first global CEO of the publishing house, Condé Nast. Formerly the CEO of radio streaming service, Pandora, Lynch will now front the media company. The mass media publication produces some of the world’s largest fashion magazines, such as Vogue, Vanity Fair and GQ. The company wishes to transform and adapt to the new world of digital consumption. Lynch is set to take his position into action on April 22.
