The highly-anticipated return of fashion month is here, starting with NYFW SS23. As expected, the street style was off the charts, with a blend of neutrals, bright hues, classic silhouettes and experimental cutouts. We saw myriad tan and cream ensembles in the form of trousers, crop tops, suits and skirts. Pops of color took over the streets of New York, with the most popular shades including pink, lime green, blue and yellow. While the micro bag trend dominated runways for a few seasons, we’re seeing a return of tote bags, large in size and varying in hues. With the heat breaking through rainclouds, the fashion goers donned summery dresses in black, white and cream – cut-outs add an extra element of sexiness to the already free-flowing designs. To top off these looks, strappy sandals and ballet flats, are making a comeback. For those dressing casual, it was all about denim and basics, elevated with luxury bags and sky-high heels.
