Situated in a heritage corner store, Goodness Gracious Café is all about nourishing the local community. The seasonal menu is constantly evolving, with locally sourced produce and aesthetically pleasing presentation. Pawpaw has been a favorite on the Woolongabba breakfast scene for nearly ten years. The innovative menu is inspired by Asian cuisine and combines traditional ‘western breakfast’ items with a delicious Asian influence. For example, the Tom Yum Omelette has prawns, cherry tomatoes, and a tom yum dressing, and the Kalamansi Meringue Pancake features the Kalamansi, or Philippine lime. Lunch is available from 11:00 am, with fish tacos, Malaysian yellow curry, Massaman Bahn mi, and tofu katsu salad. Drinks include coffee, tea, smoothies, juice, and soft drinks, plus cocktails, beer, cider, and wine. Finish off with a sweet treat from the vegan sundae menu. When it comes time for dinner, Pawpaw serves it up from Wednesday to Sunday. 30. Death Star Canteen
While Brisbane is hardly a galaxy far, far away, Star Wars fans can still come to nerd-out at the Death Star Canteen. The name is inspired by the iconic and hilarious Eddie Izzard sketch.
