Kendall Jenner Lands Her First Fragrance Campaign
Kendall Jenner’s star is swiftly rising in the modelling world, and now the brunette beauty has just landed herself her first ever fragrance campaign. Jenner has been announced as the new face of Estée Lauder for their Modern Muse Le Rouge fragrance which is reportedly a delightful blend of jasmine, rose, magnolia, vanilla, patchouli, and vetiver – which makes it the perfect fragrance to wear on a night out.
But the smell is not the best part, the award goes to the campaign, and Jenner is seriously impressive and super striking in her red pantsuit.
Carolina Herrera Makes a Great Point About Skin-Baring Dresses
Carolina Herrera is a designer celebrated for her timeless and super feminine garments, so it’s not all that surprising that she doesn’t “get” the whole naked dress thing. In recent years celebrities have become much more daring in their outfit choices, opting for skin-baring dresses in low cuts and sheer fabric – and it can look amazing, just think of the gowns that Zoe Saldana, Gigi Hadid and Heidi Klum wore to the Oscar and Vanity Fair parties earlier this year. However, Herrera makes a pretty powerful point about these dresses: “how can you be a fashion icon if you’re not wearing clothes?” she said during an interview with The Washington Post.
She makes a good point, but do you agree?
Katy Perry Is The New Face of Moschino
Katy Perry and Moschino have paired up for the brands A/W 15 ad campaign, and fashion lovers are taking note. Although this collaboration comes as no surprise, Perry has been seen wearing the brand numerous occasions, and she’s been a lover of the quirky Italian fashion house ever since Jeremy Scott showcased his first collection for them.
The pictures are fantastic though, shot by Inez and Vinoodh and styled by Carlyne Cerf de Dudzeele, Perry looks smouldering as she poses in gold bustier complete with patchwork denim jacket and a fitted black skirt. We’re also loving her new pixie cut and the 80’s inspired gold chains. Stay tuned for more pictures.
Burberry Has An Unusual New Venture
Burberry is the name synonymous with British luxury fashion and accessories, but it looks as though the brand wants to expand their reach, because they have just opened a cafe in London.
Yes, you read that correctly! The cafe is named Thomas’s, after the brand’s founder Thomas Burberry and it will be located at the flagship store in London’s Regent Street. Open seven days a week, you can expect some of the finest British flavours on offer including everything from the classic afternoon tea to lobster and chips.
Good Food and good fashion? Burberry might be on to something.
Pippa Middleton Is Much More Than Just a Royal’s Sister
Pippa Middleton has proven to the world that she is a woman of many skills, and she can now add fashion designer to her resume. Middleton has teamed up with designer Tabitha Webb to create a limited edition scarf and dress for the British Heart Foundation. So, who will be modelling these pretty floral designs? She will of course.
Both pieces are very stylish and feminine and we’re impressed. If you want to get your hands on Pippa and Tabitha’s collaboration (which helps to raise funds and awareness for charity) then head over to tabithawebb.co.uk, where you can pick up the dress for £295 (AUD$594) and the scarf for £95 (AUD$191).
