Adidas is the official partner of FIFA’s World Cup hosted in Brazil that is a mere month away. To celebrate the greatest athletes, Adidas has released a visual and physical representation of ‘‘go hard or go home’ ; The Battle Pack.
This collection takes inspiration from the world’s five revolutionary and driven soccer players; Lionel Messi (Argentina), Luis Suarez (Uruguay), Oscar (Brazil), Dani Alves (Brazil) and Mesut Oezil (Germany).
The range features 5 styles, adizero f50, predator, nitrocharge, 11pro and adizero f50 Messi. The adizero f50 Messi is the exception with added blue and white colours which is inspired by the Argentinian flag.
With a maximum grip and comfort, the shoe follows the movement of the foot, designed to improve performance and optimise gameplay. Each boot features precise measurements of 50% black and 50% white with finesse and cutting-edge technology for visual effects and intention on the field. Its striking three gold stripes are a representation of the fire in the players’ hearts, the sheer emotion, the pumping adrenaline and the hard work of every competing team, and of course, the gold FIFA World Cup.
The Adidas Battle Pack exhibits strength, power, tenacity and evolution of our species, the battlers, the fighters and the fearless. The FIFA World Cup has evolved with every tournament, creating players and fans of determination. Where legends are born, records are made and individuals unite and stand proud for their country.
The balance of black on white with gold combines the spirit with strength, the ‘no excuses’ mentality, (the black and white) and the emotions and perseverance (the gold), this is what the fans and the players are united with that truly represent the FIFA World Cup.
Players will be debuting Adidas’ Battle Pack on-field at the UEFA Champions League Final in Lisbon.
